**ICMC Update on COVID-19 – Opening with caution under strict guidelines**
Assalaamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahe wa barakatuh,

The State of Illinois has entered Phase 3 – Recovery, of the Restore Illinois Plan issued by Governor J.B. Pritzker.

Effective Fajr, on Sunday, May 31st (tomorrow), ICMC will be opened for five daily salah and Jumu’ah with caution and under strict guidelines.

Any additional details regarding Jumu’ah will be shared later in the week.

No other activity, except Fardh salah and Jumu’ah is allowed at ICMC. No classes, halaqas, sports or meetings are allowed at ICMC until further notice.

Our guidelines are based on the Illinois Department of Public Health recommendations and will evolve as situation changes.

First and foremost, your safety and the safety of your family and all the community is most important.

While the COVID-19 Pandemic is ongoing, you have a valid excuse from Shariah to pray your salah at home.

Do not take the risk of visiting ICMC, if you are not comfortable.

Understand that ICMC will be cleaned regularly, however, the facilities are not sanitized or cleaned after every salah at the present time and the materials required for proper sanitization are not readily available.

Second, if you answer YES to the following questions, you are not allowed to visit ICMC premises until your situation has been reviewed by ICMC Board.
